The split-corona daffodil cultivars have a corona that is partly split into segments (not lobed), and usually split for more than half its length. The flowers are usually borne one to a stem. Some Split-corona daffodils (called "collar" daffodils) have corona segments that lie on top of the perianth segments; others (the "Papillon" or "butterfly" daffodils) have alternating corona and perianth segments.
