Freezing in Florida

BJ's condition is improving and he may be discharged from the hospital on Monday. His septicemia is under control and the worst of the psychiatric symptoms have subsided. Best of all, his baseline dementia status has improved compared to that of early December. I decided that he will come home with me rather than go to the rehab center. I've had five days to rest up so I'm ready to resume my caregiving duties. Before he comes home though, I need to harvest the tangerines and winterize the house and yard to better withstand Florida's Big Freeze. Brrrrrr! ~Jack

Plants mentioned in this video: Citrus reticulata, its fruits are commonly called satsumas, tangerines or Mandarins. These are my second favorite citrus fruit, just behind the magnificent Meyers lemon (Citrus meyeri ).
