Azaleas

My azaleas were late to bloom this season due to the unusually long cold winter. When at last they appeared a few weeks ago, I enjoyed them even more than usual and they inspired this video of six of the showiest varieties in my garden. After several years of drought and neglect I haven't lost a single shrub. I suspect that these beautiful shrubs are tougher and more robust than many references indicate - but only if you plant azalea cultivars created to grow in your particular climate. ~Jack
