...is a how-to guide to water-wise and low-maintenance gardening. It does
not include a compendium of plant species, but has detailed and well-illustrated
chapters on designing and maintaining the garden landscape.

of more than 300 plant species. Mainly for gardeners at all elevations
in the southwestern US.
Desert Gardening for Beginners

gardens. It’s an inexpensive little book with lots of useful information.
